cuddle her at this age. I was away when the children visited her
for the 1st time. So cuteeeeee....

Dogs Are Hardwork

To scoop or not to scoop... That is the question

Nobody has to tell me that dogs are hardwork, I used to take care of mine all throughout my teenage life. But obviously, the Boys are finding it out now.


Its not unusual to hear the following in our household these days...


"I picked up 7 piles of poops yesterday. Its now your turn to scoop it up!" (Blue)


"So?" (Red)


"So, its your turn to pick up the poops!"(Blue)


"But... I will vomit. Its so smelly" (Red)


"I don't care! Its your turn to scoop it up!" (Blue)



And it goes on and on and the poop is there, unscooped.

Before you run away with the idea that I was preparing my grocery list, I was not. The children were figuring out a name to call our new dog a.k.a new addition to the family. At last, there is an additional female in the house!!!


Let me present to you..... "Cheezy" our new Golden Retriever!!!!!! She is loving, adorable, friendly, cuddly and absolutely lovable! Its not a surprise that the children fell in love with her when they went to make their 'pick' her parent's home while she was just a few weeks old. I was away in Melbourne, Australia, at that time.


Having a dog is like having another baby around. Its loads of work. I resisted to the idea of having a dog but relented with the condition that the dog is wholly the children's responsibility namely, NOT ME.


I used to have my own dog of "no-breed-just-a-puppy-dumped-by-someone". She was a real smarty pantz for a "no-breed-just-a-puppy-dumped-by-someone" type of dog. Never pee-ed or poo-ed in the house. She ate exactly what we ate, except for the vegetables. Rice and meat, she walloped without any complains. No registerd collar. No vaccinations. No visits to the vet. Not neuter.... err.. that was a mistake. Anyways.


I was only a young inexperienced teenage girl. How time has passed.


Now, the cycle has come a full round. Its now my children's turn to pour unconditional love. My, my, what a journey its going to be ..... *shivers down my spine*

New Family Members

Let me introduce our new family members to you....

Joel, Ethaniel, Ivan, Christina and Baby

These are the names of our hamsters. They were given to us by my sis-in-law's friend. These dwaft hamsters are absolutely cute. The children have been totally obsessed with them... playing with them... Is it going to be a temporary thing? Will they be getting bored of them soon? I don't know. Only time will tell.


They have been bugging us to have a dog... cat but let's try hamsters, first.

Mommy Dog Again?

"Mommy!!! See, who's at the front door (not gate)!!! Its the Mommy Dog! Oh, so poor thing..." exclaimed Ethaniel.

In my heart was a big "Oh dear!" What have I done? I know I made a mistake when I fed it yesterday. Oh well, just add that to the existing long list of mistakes I regularly make in my life :-/

Mommy Dog Came For a Visit

This morning we had a guest at the gate. Guess who? Yes, the Mommy Dog. We have not gone to see her and her puppies in the last few days. According to the children, there are only 3 puppies left. The rest has been taken.

More About The Puppies

The puppies are growing well since I last blog about them. The mother dog is doing well too. There are 5 puppies left. They are much cuter now. A few has been taken by the gardener and various other people.

We have been feeding them once a day - either in the afternoon or night.

Animals, Pets & Dogs

Joel and Ethaniel absolutely adores animals.... especially dogs. They have such passion for stray dogs!

In Thailand, stray dogs are EVERYWHERE. Their love of animals is incredible, largely due to the Buddhism influence. We live in a mooban (Gated Community/Village). Not many stray dogs can squeeze pass the security gates without notice. Two gates infact!

A few days ago, my children discovered a female dog with large tits and I have explained to them the reason why Mama dogs have "big breast"; they need to feed their pups. So, they made their own conclusions after spotting this female dog. They also, tailed this friendly dog to her litters - 8 pups in total!

Naturally both of them became obsessed with feeding the Mama dog and so we did, this evening. She was absolutely famished and very pleased to see us. We fed her twice because, she gorged her food and craving for more! We pitied her and brought another serving an hour later.

Can you see the compassion and love oozing from these children?

My worry will be to hear the following question .... "Mommy, can I take these puppies home?"
