Lagging Behind in Blogging
A type of poisonous jelly fish. It puffs up like a balloon. Found it on the beach along Batesman Bay, South Coast NSW, Australia (not related to this post :-)
I feel guilty.
And...
I feel bad.
Well, its regards to this blog. Unfortunately I have been neglecting it.
Joel, my Older Son, commented that I used to update my blog almost everyday... but now... far and wide the gap of the regularity of my blog posts. As a result, this-ardent-fan-of-my-blog a.k.a Joel, my Older Son, seldom visit.
Sigh.
I should try to write more. After all, both of them are off to school and I should have some time to myself... In theory that sounds nice, unfortunately, I have not had opportunities for a 2 hours massage, spa or facial. Hmm... could it be the huge hole their schooling are burning into my wallet hole. Could be. High possibility. Or is it that I just need some scapegoat for my lack of desire to pamper myself. Hmmm... I am thinking. No resolution.
I have sooooo many blog posts outstanding. My Australia trip. 19 days, only 1 post. So disappointing. Thailand trip. 11 days. Nobody knows. Haha. Have not even drafted 1 post! I am obviously lagging behind in the blogging world.
I will get down to all those post, I think. I just need to finish up some work piling up at my part time job. You know, the one I blogged about in April 09, you can read it here.
One thing is for sure... I am enjoying the pace of my life. It used to be hurried, haphazard, rushy, stressful, time management, time management and some more time management (which I was lousy at)... How does someone manage cleaning, housekeeping, cooking, marketing, running errands, laundry, going for bible studies, raising 2 active boys, homeschooling and working part time, all at the same time? *wipe sweat from forehead*
The answer is somewhere hidden with God.

Internet-Less
I have been internet-less since 5 March 09 when I got the keys to our new rented home.
This is the first time in the last 3 years which I have been internet-less for such a long time.
Eventhough I missed blogging but the tiredness of unpacking, sorting, clearing, cooking, cleaning, cycling in the park with Ethaniel, walking-while-Joel-and-Ethaniel cycle sessions, laundry, organising activities e.g. swimming, English, Science, Piano, Mandarin, art class, gymnastic, robotic.... out of breath.... classes has kept me busy. I am planning for April 2009 to start all those activities for the children.
By the end of everyday, I am pooped.
I am at the Mamak shop having roti canai and teh tarik... They have free wifi. So, I thought I send some update...
Honestly, the first few days, I must have experienced withdrawal symptoms due to lack of blogging ....

Arrived Safely
I have arrived safety in Malaysia 12am early morning today.
We are all doing well, slowly trying to settle back to our home country. We hope the transition will not be too hard for all of us, especially the children. Please pray for us.
I have limited internet access, so, I might not be able to blog as much as I like.
I am home.

I Took a Break
I have taken a break from blogging for almost 10 days now. I know, I know, its very unusual for me to be silent for that long.
After the Joyce Meyer & Hillsong concert in Chiang Mai, I felt to stay back instead of returning with the whole group of friends to Bangkok. I had intentions to stay for a few days but it ended up longer than that. I just returned yesterday morning.
It was a very fruitful time and of course very timely since there will be many changes in next coming weeks and months.
Thanks for dropping by while I was away.

Laundry, Cleaning, Cooking...
I woke up early this morning. There were heaps of laundry. It was easily 5 loads into the washing machine. Phew! Its two weeks worth of laundry, plus thick winter clothes.
I have loads of photos to sort out and figuring the best way to blog about my trip... Anyway, I will write as much as I can. It has been physically exhausting both the trip and also the cleaning up.
Its nice to be able to cook and eat some home cooked meals after 2 weeks of eating out.
By the way, thanks for dropping by while I was away. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and enjoy your holidays.

Happy 1st Birthday to My Blog
Happy 1st Birthday to my Blog!
I have been a blogger for one year now.
I don't really know what that means.
Have I been a better writer?
Have I blessed, touched, entertained and encouraged someone who visited my sanctuary?
I definitely have been blessed, touched, entertained and encouraged myself when I came here...
Many times refreshed too...
One thing I know for sure....
One day, my children and grand children will come here and see the history which was created all laid out and penned for them.
My heart is uplifted to hear the small little giggles and laughters as I close my eyes to imagine them enjoying this place which has been my sanctuary.

Merdeka! Eating! Talking! Hanging!
The Independence Day of Malaysia was celebrated on 31 August.
We, the Malaysians in Bangkok hardly feel the effect... there was no fireworks, no public holiday, its just like any normal day.
Coincidentally, a group of us Malaysians went out for lunch - not to celebrate "Hari Merdeka" but just to hang out, fellowship and of course, eat. The most favorite past time of Malaysians. What a way to celebrate Malaysia's Independence Day.... The Malaysian way.

Joel was totally exhilarated with the chocolate fountain. Look at that face. Pure joy! Background is Goolypop and Owen. My new blogger friend.

My friend S told me about this buffet lunch which is on during summer holidays annually. Buy 1 free 1. So, we all went to Amari Atrium along Petchaburi road in Bangkok.
The place is great for parents and children. There are great and various activities catered especially for the children. They could cook pasta, make candy floss, build legos, eat dinosaur candies and a very delicious-every-child's-dream-chocolate-fountain with unlimited flow. Aaarrrggghhh!!! Would have been my ultimate dream - when I was a child. Not anymore. How sad.

Getting A Chance To Blog Again
My Malaysian trip has been so very busy.
Since the day I arrived, almost 2 weeks ago, I have not gotten a chance to access the internet via my laptop.
My sister has just gone back yesterday and today is a free day... no appointments with any friends. So, I am at Starbucks Cafe doing some email and blogging. I had to buy a cup of coffee for RM13.80 (THB138 / USD4). I didn't feel comfortable hanging out here without buying anything.

On The Way Home...
I am currently in Jordan International airport waiting for board the plane. The flight is scheduled at 2.59am and right now its about 12am *sigh*. 3 hours more to go... We had to check in earlier so that we could get good seats, the flight is full.
I will try to write some post in the next few days.
I missed the children very much.
I am very excited to meet them... not too long from now.
Thanks for dropping by my blog while I was away and leaving comments.

How Do You Internet Surf Faster?
I would like to share my personal experience on how to save time when internet surfing. Very simple.
All of us would like to visit each other's blog and read daily post fast, easily and effectively. So, how to do that with a slow broadband line in Bangkok and sometime overloaded computer?
Following is what I do:

Following is what I do:
- Use Mozilla Firefox. You can download from here http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
- Using Mozilla Firefox, when you want to open a website just press "Ctrl" and "click" on the desired website
- You can open as many site as you want. Sometimes I open up to 10 websites at one time.
- The benefit is that, you can be typing your post while waiting for the website to download/open properly.
